Trimming Your Insoles
How to trim the Next Generation Stimsoles® insoles
Biopods® Next Generation Stimsoles® insoles 3/4 LENGTH
Place the insoles into your shoes, tucking them back against the shoes' heel pockets. The insoles should rest flat without buckling in the mid-foot area.
If the insoles are too wide in the mid-foot area to rest flat, trim a small amount on each side (no more than 1/8" (3mm) along the Insoles' mid-foot area and put them into your shoes. NEVER trim the heel area of your insoles.
Slip on your shoes.
Your body’s weight should keep the trimmed 3/4 length insoles in place but, if you feel them shifting on particularly slippery inner soles, try using Velcro® tabs or double sided tape to secure them in place.
Biopods® Next Generation Stimsoles® insoles FULL LENGTH
1. Place your full length Insoles on the floor and stand on them with your heels squarely in the heel pockets. Make sure that the Pods are positioned comfortably and directly beneath the center of each foot’s arch system. Draw a Trim Line around each forefoot.
2. Remove the insoles that came with the shoes and place them ON TOP OF the Biopods® Insoles, lining up both sets at the heels and centering each forefoot with the lines that you traced around your feet.
3. Draw a second Trim Line around the outside of the shoes' insoles from the ball of the foot forward. Using scissors, trim just to the inside of the shoes' insole line.
4. Place the Biopods® insoles in your shoes, ensuring that they rest flat. If the Insoles cannot rest flat, trim the forefoot area a small amount (no more than 1/8" (3mm) and refit them into your shoes. NEVER trim the heel.
