What To Expect From

Your Biopods Sneakers

Biopods Sneakers and Stimsoles Insoles work like an exercise program to safely retrain and maintain healthy function throughout your feet, legs, hips, and back.

Results can be immediate or it may take a week or two before you begin to notice changes.

The good news is that virtually everyone can regain healthy protective reflex function, often much more quickly than you’d expect. Children's bodies typically respond to Biopods most rapidly, while senior's bodies take a bit more time.

Soft Tissue Adjustment Phase

As with any muscle training, there is a brief period of soft tissue adjustment as your neuromuscular system retrains to work more efficiently and your alignment improves. This adjustment phase may continue for up to six to eight weeks.

During this period, it is normal to experience occasional twinges, tightness, or slight soreness in different areas as your body adjusts. This is especially true if you have preexisting scar tissue or fibrosis from a historic injury. Inelastic fibrotic tissues can become “sticking points” that may be persistently painful as alignment changes. These “sticking point” fibrotic tissues can be easily treated by a medical professional through use of complementary soft tissue mobilization therapies to regain natural elasticity in the affected tissues.

Note: Biopods do not treat damaged tissue that has been caused by trauma or historical or degenerative stresses resulting from poor foot mechanics. As noted above, damaged tissues will need to be treated by a healthcare professional using soft tissue mobilization therapies.

These therapies include, but are not limited to, ultrasound, deep tissue massage, Active Release Technique (A.R.T.), and Graston Technique. After a few treatments, these sticking points should be resolved, allowing alignment and function to improve unimpeded.

Your body may respond to Biopods Sneakers differently depending on your foot mobility (how easily you can raise your toes).

If you can easily raise your toes...

... your feet will adapt quickly to Biopods Footwear.

You will be aware of the springy gel Pods' unique sensation initially, but it should become virtually unnoticeable within a short period of time.

You may experience transitory aches or pain in your feet, legs, hips, or back as alignment and function improves. However, any pain that persists may indicate preexisting fibrotic/scar tissue that would benefit from the attention of a healthcare professional experienced in soft tissue mobilization therapies.

If you can only raise your toes a little bit...

... your feet will take more time to adapt to Biopods Footwear.

Limited toe movement is usually caused by a combination of poor muscle function and flexibility--both of which will improve with consistent use of Biopods. The gel Pods may be quite noticeable initially, but that awareness will diminish within the first week or so as foot mobility improves.

You may experience transitory aches or pain anywhere in your feet, legs, hips, or back as your alignment and function improves. Preexisting fibrotic/scar tissue is often the culprit. Soft tissue mobilization therapies applied by an experienced healthcare professional are recommended in that case.

If you wear your Biopods Stimsoles insoles in incompatible footwear (tight over the arch areas, low toe boxes, rigid soles, or heels over 3/4 of an inch), you may also experience transient discomfort. Since footwear with these characteristics limits effectiveness of the Biopods insoles, try to wear them in shoes that have adequate toe boxes, flexible soles, and low relatively soft heels for best results.

If you can can’t raise your toes at all...

... your feet may have have difficulty adapting to Biopods® Footwear.

Inability to raise the toes is usually caused by extremely poor muscle function, poor flexibility, or joint fusion caused by surgery or arthritis. In these instances, the stimulus provided by the Pods may simply be uncomfortable or downright intolerable.

If your limited toe movement is caused by poor muscle function and flexibility, you should consult your a healthcare professional experienced in mobilization techniques BEFORE you purchase them. Our team is happy to speak with them to answer any questions or address any concerns they may have about how our products work.

If you do opt to try them, be aware that the Pods may feel quite noticeable under your arches initially, but this sensation should diminish as your foot mobility improves.

Biopods® products are founded on modern therapeutic principles that are universally used to rehabilitate every other part of the body.
